Medical Mission Spring 2008
During our Medical Mission trip Feb 29-March 16, The medical mission team worked in Khanh Hoa and Bac Giang provinces.
-about 3,000 patients treated by the Primary Care team, mainly at remote rural sites. Medical,dental and optometry services were provided
-the Surgical team operated 25 reconstructive surgery at Bac Giang hospital and 7 eye surgeries at Vinh Phuc hospital
-the Training team worked at 8 sites in HCM, Rach Gia, Ba Ria, Vinh, Vinh Phuc, Hai Phong and Bac Giang provinces.

Summer Service Camp 2008
Our summer camp 2008 involved a total of 56 US participants and 60 Vietnam students working in southwest provinces: 5 rural clinics, rehabilitation construction projects of 4 bridges, 1 restroom complex for a school and road repair, as well as assistance to children with special needs.
Summer camp 2009 will go to the highlands July 4-19, 2009

Volunteers for Summer 2008
We have ongoing projects at Vietnam program sites and are still accepting volunteers for summer 2008 for a minimum of 2 weeks. There are opportunities to volunteer year-round. If interested please contact Dr. Kieu at 714-641-0850 or email qkieu@projectvietnam.net

Medical Mission Fall 2008
Project Vietnam is recruiting for our Fall medical trip, working in Vietnam November 1 through 16, in the provinces of Tra Vinh-Mekong delta, and Hung Yen-south of Hanoi. Please register for our Primary Care, Surgery - Ophthalmology- and Training teams.
Deadline for registration is September 3.
